As a speech-language pathologist, I have the knowledge and experience necessary for working with kids diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. I incorporate various learning techniques to stimulate communication skills between a child and their caregiver, to help children to communicate their basic needs and wants without frustration. In cooperation with the child’s caregivers, I develop therapy strategies and provide treatments both in home settings and in my private practice.
I believe in the essential part of collaborate work with the therapeutic team including: occupational therapist, physical therapist, special instruction therapist, and behavioral therapist to achieve progress in the therapy.
Therapy sessions start with the development of a treatment plan and communicating the strategies based on the assessment and test results, as well as educating caregivers on how to carry out strategies and techniques, presented in the therapy sessions, during daily activities to achieve the communication goals.
I am fluent in Russian and certified to provide speech and language therapy in Russian.
Trained in PROMPT.
